What products are traded on Nile’s marketplace?
Nile focuses on Fruit and vegetables trading, both whole and value added. The marketplace offers a wide variety of fresh produce comprising more than 50 categories, anything from apples to brinjals.
Do you trade meat products?
We currently only trade fruit and vegetables and plan to expand the range over time based on demand from buyers.
Can I purchase my home’s groceries from the Nile marketplace?
No, Nile connects fresh produce farmers to commercial buyers. These commercial buyers include wholesalers, retailers, packers and processors.

Where is Nile’s cross-docking facility situated?
19 Oshbro Avenue, Samrand Business Park, Centurion. Our warehouse is conveniently located near Freshmark DC and easily accessed from the N1 highway.
Does Nile arrange logistics?
Yes, we have an extensive network of leading freight providers that we partner with, which enables us to connect buyers and sellers in the most efficient manner.
Payments
How secure are transactions through the Nile platform?
Nile Marketplace was designed to ensure that all transactions are financially secure, meaning that sellers are guaranteed to receive timely payments upon delivery of agreed goods. All funds are transmitted via Nile’s trust account, ensuring safe and transparent transactions.
